3.4 Access Control

3.4.1 Functionality

• Access Control module is only available for Admin users. Access can be provided to Roles, Users, Objects, and their related Modules using the Access Control module.

• Depending on the object, Access is provided to its related modules like Records of Object, Apps, Dashboards, Pages, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Forms.

• In Access Control Module, access can be provided to the Roles of the users.

3.4.2 Features

CREATE :

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to Create access can create Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Forms.

DELETE_OTHERS :

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to DELETE_OTHERS access can also DELETE the Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Forms of other users.

DELETE_OWN:

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to DELETE_OWN access can DELETE the Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Forms of self-created.

READ_OTHERS :

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to READ_OTHERS access can also READ the Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Form of other users.

READ_OWN :

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to READ_OWN access can READ the Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Form of self-created.

UPDATE_OTHERS :

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to UPDATE_OTHERS access can also UPDATE the Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Form of other users.

UPDATE_OWN :

• Using the toggle button ON/OFF, Create access can be provided to Roles.

• According to Access Control Module, those Roles having to UPDATE_OWN access can UPDATE the Records, APPs, Dashboards, Pages, MicroAPIs, Workflows, TaskQueues, and Advanced Form of self-created.
