1.3 Picklists

The following functionalities are available in the picklist module:

1.3.1 Functionality

Picklist List

  • A list of all picklists will be displayed.

Refresh button :

  • To view a newly created picklist, simply click the refresh button on the picklist listing page.

  • If you have searched for a specific picklist and want to display all picklists again, just click the Refresh button, and all picklists will be shown.

  • The picklist listing page provides a convenient search bar to easily find specific picklists.

Add New Picklist button:

  • To create a new picklist, click on the "Add New Picklist" button. Fill in all the required fields, such as the Name and Description, and then click the "Submit" button.

  • After submitting the form, a success message will be displayed, confirming that the picklist has been added successfully.

1.3.2 Features

View:

  • On the view page, Picklists details are displayed.

Edit:

  • When editing a picklist, you have the ability to modify various information, including the Description, Status, and Key-Display text pairs (excluding the Name). After making the desired changes, simply click the "Save" button, and a success message will be displayed, confirming that the picklist has been updated successfully.

  • Additionally, you can use the "Back" button to easily navigate back to the object listing page.

Delete:

  • When initiating the "Delete" action for a picklist, a dialog box will appear, prompting the user with a confirmation message: "Are you sure? You won't be able to revert this!" The dialog box will present two buttons: "Yes, Delete It!" and "Cancel". If the user chooses to proceed and clicks on "Yes, Delete It!", the selected picklist will be permanently deleted. Subsequently, the picklist listing page will be automatically refreshed to reflect the updated list of picklists.
